Sensa Lounge Restaurant W.L.L runs Sensa Lounge, a bar and restaurant at Unit 109, Building 6, Street 110, Zone 66, Parcel 4, The Pearl, Doha, Qatar. We decide how your data is used. Write to us at contact@sensalounge.qa about anything on this page.

• When you message us on Instagram, Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp: your name and profile picture as those apps show them to us, and what you write or send.
• When you email us: your email address and your message.
• When you comment on our posts: your public profile and your comment, as Facebook and Instagram show them.
• When you book a table by message, email or phone: your name, phone number, the date, the number of guests and anything you tell us, such as an allergy or an occasion.
• When you visit this website: our host keeps short technical logs (IP address, browser, the page asked for) to keep the site running and safe. The site asks for no personal details, sets no cookies and runs no tracking. We will update this page before that changes.

• To answer you and look after your booking.
• To keep a record of what we agreed with you.
• To advertise on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may show you our ads based on your activity, under its own privacy policy. We may also show ads to people who have followed or messaged our pages, using the audience tools in our Meta ad account. We never give Meta your phone number or email address without asking you first.
• To meet our legal duties, such as keeping invoices.

We do not sell your data.

• Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp) carries the messages you send us, under Meta’s privacy policy.
• Socialize for Digital Solutions W.L.L, our marketing agency in Doha, runs our pages and ads for us, so its team can see the messages and comments sent to our pages. It works only on our instructions.
• Our service providers: Vercel hosts this website and Titan hosts our email. They hold data only to provide that service.
• The authorities in Qatar, when the law requires it.

We use a Meta app called “Sensa Lounge” so our own tools can publish posts, answer messages and run ads on our Facebook Page, Instagram account and ad account. Through it our tools see the messages and comments sent to our pages, so we can answer them. The app works only on our own accounts: it never asks you to sign in and cannot read your Facebook or Instagram account.

Messages, emails and booking details stay with us only as long as we need them to answer you and look after your visit, and no longer than 12 months after your last contact. Records the law asks us to keep, such as invoices, we keep for as long as the law requires.

Under Qatar’s personal data law (Law No. 13 of 2016), you can ask us to:

• tell you what data we hold about you;
• correct it;
• delete it (here is how to ask);
• stop sending you news of offers and events.

Sensa Lounge serves alcohol and is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we delete any we find.

When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
